Second edition of the SUDOCO newsletter
The value of collaboration, many updates on the project and the preparation of this year big event: read our #2 newsletter
“Once again, the scientific content and progress were remarkable, reaffirming that we are on the right track.”
With these words, Prof. Jan-Willem van Wingerden, coordinator of the SUDOCO project, wrapped up the fourth consortium meeting, held in Barcelona on April 22–23rd and kindly hosted by our partner YouWind.
Three words stood out in his closing remarks: “once again”, a nod to the consistent direction and momentum the project is maintaining; “remarkable”, a testament to the technical and scientific quality being delivered across work packages; and most importantly, “we”.
That final keyword—we—is perhaps the true strength of SUDOCO. As highlighted during the Review Meeting held shortly after Barcelona, SUDOCO is more than a consortium of experts: it’s a community. A collective made up of leaders in their fields, whose collaborative spirit is what transforms potential into impact.
This shared commitment is also reflected in the many dissemination activities carried out directly by the partners—some of which you’ll find featured in this issue. And while we continue to build on this energy, we’re also gearing up for the big event of the year: WESC. Time to start turning the blades—literally!
