SOWENTO participation in FOWT 2026: advancing digital twin solutions for floating wind

At FOWT 2026, project work showcased the Ozea digital twin for floating wind using real field data, with SUDOCO contributing to its development alongside SOWENTO.

SOWENTO, partner of the SUDOCO project, attended the Floating Offshore Wind Turbine (FOWT) 2026 conference in Montpellier on 24-25th March 2026, one of the leading international events dedicated to floating offshore wind technologies.

During the conference, work related to a client project was presented, focusing on the validation of the Ozea monitoring solution. The study demonstrated the applicability of the approach using real operational data from the TetraSpar floating wind turbine.

Ozea, developed as a joint offering by AMOG Consulting and SOWENTO, is a physics-based, real-time capable digital twin designed for:

  • structural integrity monitoring
  • load assessment
  • lifetime estimation of floating wind turbines

SUDOCO contributed to the development of key components of the digital twin framework, supporting the advancement of innovative monitoring solutions for offshore renewable energy applications.

Participation in FOWT 2026 highlights ongoing efforts to support the deployment of advanced digital technologies in the energy transition, with a focus on scalable, data-driven solutions for complex energy systems.
